i completely AGREE! wit you. i love it. and i don't get why people hate on it so much? i mean even against a top say 5 Quickscoper, you will win 7/10 times if you got a AR or SMG. cause snipers will make you move slower and they can't shoot as many bullets. so if they miss tha 1st shot. 90% chance you will end up killing them.
that is very true. Quickscoping in my opinion as I have said, Is the end result of sniper evolution. The main part of a snipers gain in skill, is how quickly and accurately they can find a target and put them down. Every sniper is this way. Its been that way for me since CoD3. I Remember on one map with a broken bridge in the middle (cant remember the name). I would sit on that bridge and snipe. At one point the other team knew where I was because I had not been moving. So I see 4 of them rushing across the bridge at me. at that point I start playing whack-a-mole, where I poped up and down from cover. Pop up, pop down, one dead, pop up, pop down, 2 dead and so on.
For me and many other snipers out there the pinnacle of sniping is like I said, how fast we can put someone down. Nothing is more gratifying then seeing an enemy pop out of cover, scoping in for less then half a second and taking them out.
Another point people dont like to mention is that it is ungodly difficult to aim accuratly AND move. you basically have to be stationary when firing. At long range you can pull off snipers while strafing. I enjoyed sniping like that in MW3. At range it can help you put your enemy in your cross hairs even faster. But up close, even a small adjustment has drastic effect on your aim while scoped in.
and to the OP, If your willing and able to keep up on this thread Might I suggest taking a tally? What I mean is for you to go through ths thread, read the comments and amend your first post with something like: 13 say it doesnt belong, 39 say it does, 900 billion dont care. XD or something like that.
