Seriously, the gamepad is fine and all, but I feel that it should've just been an add on. It doesn't really add much, and other than the offTV feature(Which I rarely use because there's two TVs in the house), I don't really see what's so great about it.
I have to agree with all of this. The gamepad (imo) is a gimmick, a gimmick that won't last like the wiimote. Even my son, who was really looking forward to getting the WiiU last year, says the very same and still prefers his xbox. He says the WiiU is slow as f*** compared and like me can not see anything special about the WiiU. If he didn't use it for Nintendo games, we wouldn't have it anymore..
