I cannot stress how useless this attachment is, (except for the peacekeeper of course) But for every other gun this attachment is terrible!
lets look at the positives for this attachments shall we.
- faster time to kill for close range.
- faster fire rate.
now time to look at the negatives.
- decreases range by 60% for sub machine guns, and 40% for light machine guns.
- increases hip spread by 30% for sub machine guns, and 20% for light machine guns.
- increases ammo consumption.
- more frequent reloads.
Negitives out weigh the positives.
There is a solution though, what treyarch has to do is get rid of the damage penalty entirely and it will make the rapid fire attachment on par with other attachments.
I just want to make this a viable attachment again like in all the other games.
