I had a lot of of debacles about Winning during this period of time during which players attitude level has been decreasing. I wont debacle that, but will say this:
Its not directed to you, but picking what you said: "No style of playing is superior". Its exactly from quotes like this that you see the "relativism" community felt into... Yes there are obviously superior styles of playing and superior players (not referring to myself). If they didint exist there wouldnt be guys that double your Wins with the same ammount of Kills you have (Im saying "You" but Im referring to us all).
Problem is in my opinion: playing for KD/Killstreaks, playing in a childish manner, games were most are quickscopers or people just running around with axes and RPGs: we all can say many things but a portion of guys dont like it and eventually will just go away!.. And of course in my opnion this Community needs those players: or the level will continue to get lower....
I talk for myself, I didnt want to go away from CoD but Ive been playing a lot of games lately and BO2 certainly has the worst I have experienced!.
Edit: I also covered the other 2 things you point out. Yes I can understand a slayer, although that buying-time-thing always seemed to me selfish. But problem is that on MW3 you would have 1 Slayer - 3 Team Players - 5 Regular Players/Noobs. On BO2 you have 6 Slayers - 3 Quickscopers - 0 Team Players! Thats what Im talkng about. Now everybody "buy-time-for-their-teammates"!....
And about Winning: you get into BF3, or Need for Speed, or NBA2K, youll see most people valuying the Win. Here on CoD "meanings" got totally messes up.
