I wouldn't care if they made either of those cost 3 points to use. I refuse to use them because they are a crutch and give a BS advantage on larger maps. At least the person has to actually aim down the sights and still shoot someone and win a gunfight while using them. Throwing an IED in a high traffic area and running to watch another spot is in no way the same, but like I said, to prove my point... make thermal and tracker cost 3 points. Hell, the people that depend on those sights will still use them, but neither of those are needed to be successful in this game.
Best case scenario, there would be less IED's, thermals, and tracker sights in the game... Not really seeing a downside.
