there are two different issues here.

1., I think everyone is in agreement that Beachhead hasn't exactly set the world on fire with their web-based applications that support clan play. And we could use something a bit more stable than a phone/pad app now being used.. A site that allows full and open access to more stats, results of all clans and everything in between. If ESPN's website can hold data for every sporting team in North America, dating back a decade, why cant' Beachhead make one listing all the clans, their rosters, and results for all their contests in just this year? Why not? CoD produces $$ billions. We are all in agreement on that I think.

Agreed and we had the basic foundation already with Elite, a system they (atvi) spent g-d knows how much on and had all the necessary backend stuff already in place to do exactly this... but nope they decided to shut down elite and go with an app because their logic was more people accessed Elite via the mobile/tablet platform (even though they never once took into account from what i can see WHY people and more importantly WHAT people accessed on elite via their mobiles and tablets.

the thing is they still have all this data hidden away on the backend servers all elite did was parse this info into a nice easy to use GUI, which is where the app falls down so much its a pos and about as user friendly as a playing catch with a porcupine.

2. Beachhead can't produce equitable 'competitive' outcomes to the hundreds if not thousands of clan wars they do each weekend. Its just not possible. The player base makes it impossible. How can you ask Beachhead to give you fair competition., when 'you', the player base, routinely drops and adds people from clans every week, let alone shows up to play one weekend and then no shows the next? Beachhead cant' predict how many of your people will play.

Disagree.

First off they need to stop making flawed scoring systems that favour the first clan to cap a node, diminishing returns and nodes worth different amounts  will never be a fair system, and instead of making it a simple they keep adding to the scoring system making it more flawed and unfair. Separating time zones is another easy fix to make the war fairer...

Secondly they could make all (not just diamond division) clan wars opt in and if your clan doesn't compete then you get dropped down a division , why this wasnt a thing to start with i don't know

Thirdly as for people dropping and adding members thats the easiest fix of them all..add a roster lock, and before you say it what we have now is NOT a rooster lock its a typical dumb idea to what was a simple issue. The current" roster" lock system  goes off the number of people in your clan when the lock comes into affect and wins are registered on a first come first serve basis.. end result we have a situation where for example your clan leader and founding members dont get their wins counted because of the new guys in the clan played first that is just dumb.  In diamond you can be in a larger clan and add new members after the lock is placed and their wins are counted as long as you dont exceed the max number of members for your bracket.   Roster lock should be just that a lock of current members not numbers and should be in place for the duration of a war.If your clan finds people aren't playing and you want to boot people and get new ones tough.

So what is Beachhead to do? Beachhead can group up clans who are 85 to 100, who have won two titles to date, but they can't determine if some of those clans are going to actually show up and play CoD one weekend.

which an opt in system would go some way to addressing, as normal wars are full of clans who arent competing and just play their usual preferred game mode as normal.

We had a Diamond clan in our group who didn't even grab a win all weekend.

we had one clan actually playing in diamond the rest didn't even bother (i asked some of the other clan members why they hadnt played and they said the euro times were too early (something BH were fully aware of but ignored then bcktracked and made it an hour later)
