Exactly, and I agree, the difference is with footsteps in the game vs. bullets fired is that they show up on a radar system that COD includes, but thats where the rabbit hole lies which I talk about.
The assumption of a radar in COD that automatically reveals where a player is, because of an unsuppressed weapon, like, why is that the assumed reality of the situation?
These are the things that I wish they would really start over at. I wish they would blow it all up and try to make the game world different, like, an unsuppressed weapon can fire anywhere on a map and show nothing, but a suppressed weapon can shoot wherever, even a foot behind a player, and not show up at all? Why not make it so there is a threshold of 15 yards a suppressed weapon can show up on the radar, as like, the mimicry of actually being in the vicinity of a gun being fired in like the obviously close enough distance to sense so, lol.
Again, this is my favorite COD and I think they got all the game system balancing figured out for what CODs been for the last few years. But, this is a new generation, new potentially great games are coming out, and I'm lookin around, just like others are. There's a reason why games can often fall behind once a new generation comes, and that's because they don't evolve with the times. People are cynical enough about COD, fans and critics alike.
