Stats mean nothing. Especially with squad mode, since it does not add to stats.
I stated playing this game the day it came out, and did really bad. I decided to play squad mode for a while to get some practice with the game mechanics and guns. Needless to say, I came back to multiplayer and still had my atrocious stats. I'm sure there were people that thought they were going to stomp me, but didn't.
