So, guess who saw the Hobbit today! I thought it was really good! The elves and Smaug are awesome in it, poor Legolas seems to be going those tricky teen years, haha. He had all the best fights, as per usual, though and Lilly got some great action in there too. I'd be absolutely shocked if she doesn't have a career in action movies ahead of her. She was a badass in the fights, intense when pissed off, and pretty likeable when she was chatting it up with one of the Dwarves. Smaug is gonna go down as one of the great baddies. Benedict Cumberbatch does such a great job given this booming, menacing voice and he looks so huge. The CGI looks great for him and there's really cool details like how you can see his throat and belly start to glow red before he breathes fire. They also continue with the foreshadowing of Sauron's return and man, what an intense scene Gandalf has in this one. It looks so very, very cool too. I don't wanna spoil too much though, you guys gotta go out and see the movie yourselves!
@Rogue - That's good, cause I don't think anyone wants to see the Blob try to fit into Rogue's clothes. Do you think they will reverse her death soon? I haven't been following the book, but it looks like there's some alternate reality thing lined up with Wasp and Havok being married and Jan being the last human.
Haha, wow, didn't take you long to zip through that map! I have Clint at level 15 right now with Iron Man and Widow both at 8. I decided to buy that extra roster slot and try my luck with the recruitment token...and I got classic Storm, haha. I decided to sell my modern Storm since she was only level 2 and I didn't need two Storms. I got this cool power for the Classic Storm called Raging Tempest where she deals damage when a character's health goes below 20 and 50%. I did about half of the Juggernaut map. I beat the "Early Departure" fight, but I still have to do the level 9 Juggernaut fight and the Tracking Thor stuff.
Oh, that sucks. It seems like the book would've been a lot more fun if everyone wasn't fighting each other all the time. Do you plan to keep buying the book if Rogue is dead long term? Black Widow has a new series coming out soon that could be pretty cool, though I kinda dislike em doing the redemption angle which just seems to be because of the red in the ledger line from the movie. Still, it could be a pretty good book!
